Need more info...: It is definitely not normal to have severe pain at any time. If it is related to a bowel movement, I would think about intestinal blockage. Your doctor will want to know if you are at least passing gas, as this will indicate partial versus full blockage (which must be ruled out). Some people can go for several weeks without bowel movement, but pain is not normal. See your doctor for eval ASAP.

Abd pain: Likely related to not moving you bowels in a week. Constipation can cause abd pain - as the bowels will still have peristalsis action. Is not having a BM in a week usual for you?? I would not be particularly worried if the pain has resolved or if it was your only symptom. If it continues message back on here and I will re answer. Worrisome symptoms include fever vomiting or bleeding.
