Easy does it: Western blot is not a specific test but a methodology. A western blot for Lyme disease tests for Lyme; a Western Blot for HIV is a different test. Truth be told, you need to be discerning in your internet reading and wary of self-diagnosis -- there's a lot of easy, wrong answers out there. Your physician is your best guide here -- if you had routine prenatal care you were tested for HIV.
