10 yr son had a laproscopic appendesectomy 1wk ago. is it normal for him to be in alot of pain on front & back. he is very pale too. am i panicking.

Don't panic: TAKE HIM IN to the ER of the hospital this was performed in or which the Surgeon is a staff member! He should NOT be having this much pain a WEEK from the procedure! Good Luck ! GO! Dr Z

Take him in!: He should be feeling much better by now, and the paleness is worrying. I would call the surgeon's office and tell them you think you need to take him to the ER and hopefully his doctor will meet you there. He DOES need urgent attention. Best wishes!
