Go to ER: New abdominal pain is always serious. if abdominal pain gets worse with laying down, you may have pancreatitis. Passing gas is actually a good thing and makes this somewhat less likely to be serious as is having diarrhea. If you are having diarrhea you could wait until tomorrow to see your doctor, otherwise go to ER
