A member asked:

Spotting before my period? is it normal

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depends...: It all depends in what context. The period may start with very little blood, in some like a spotting and then bleeds more as the days go by. As long as it lasts 3-7 days. If this is new for you, I would like to know, are you in new birth control? Any pain? Vaginal discharge? If the answer us yes to any of these questions you would need to see a gynecologist for exam and management as necessary.
