You Can't: Know if he has HPV unless he tells you or you see active lesions and various forms of HPV have different types of lesions in different areas of the bodies when active. Other times, someone with HPV (and most people have some form of it) is dormant and may never be an issue. Most lesions need to be removed by a clinician though some can be cleared with creams or ointments.
