Probably not preg: When the progesterone level is insufficient the uterus will begin to break down and bleed prematurely... before menses is supposed to started. If you are trying to get pregnant, this is just a nuisance. If you do not desire pregancy, using birth control pills, even a progesterone only pill can help to resolve the symptoms.
