A member asked:

Following my last question i now have a fever of over 100 degrees and sharp pain in the upper right side of my stomach should i go to the hospitol?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Maybe you should...: Persistent abdominal pain for more than six hours, especially with a fever, increases the likelihood that it is something that will require antibiotics or surgery. Pain in the right upper quadrant of the abdomen is most commonly related to gall bladder pain, especially if it increases with eating fatty foods.
