My son has a stomach virus and he has cherry looking cheeks with redness on his nose. side effect maybe?

Does he have a fever: with the virus? The red cheeks and nose could be from a fever if that is the case. It also could be from vomiting itself, or from the virus that is causing his symptoms (which I assume are vomiting and diarrhea?). If the rash continues or spreads, I would call his doctor and have him examined.
