Check with your DOC: tapentadol has some serious interaction with effexor (venlafaxine) a medicine you are taking.but tramadol has the same interaction. tapentadol has more addiction potential than tramadol. both have dose adjustment in case of renal and hepatic impairment.same as tramadol. the final world is really to the physician who is willing to prescribed it.
