Expert therapy: Some folk do quite well w/ expert therapy and can avoid meds - it depends on many things incl your serious compliance, effort and courage. Drugs often are not helpful anyway. Some success is found w/ ECT. Try not to think of 'totally' - that will make it harder. Managing your behaviors and the anxiety is a skill set that you can learn w/ practice. Best wishes1
