Cream vs ointment: In some instances, the potency is higher in ointment as opposed to cream ( some steroid preparations) but in general, it is a matter of personal preference which you prefer to use and where it is being put.

Greetings! I have psoriasis. I have a patch of psoriasis on my arm slightly less than the size of a quarter. For at least two weeks maybe three weeks there has been a scab over the spot. It will bleed sometimes. It is not like the typical psoriasis of flakey skin. I have applied neosporin ointment and triamcinolone cream. What is the issue? Treatment?
