Diet/ supplements: There are many things that yo can do to relieve the PMS symptoms. In your diet increase soy products and decrease salt, sugar, fats and caffeine. Supplements that may help include a multivitamin daily, vitamin B6, magnesium and vitex. Vitamin E may also be helpful. I would start first with dietary changes and add a multivitamin, B6 and magnesium then add the vitex and vitamin E if needed.

Get evaluated: PMS is not unusual in young women. Before you consider any treatments you see your primary care provider to make sure you do not have any other problems. Once the diagnosis is confirmed appropriate treatment will help. There is no single medication or treatment for the condition if you are finally diagnosed with it
