Eustachian tube ?: If not associated with pain or obvious discharge from the canal, then likely an intermittent blockage of the drainage tube from the middle ear would produce this sensation. When it unclogs it usually provides relief from ear congestion or reduced hearing.

Ear discharge : the ear discharge you describe needs to be checked at your doctor's office tomorrow or at an Urgent Care center. You may have an infection or a ruptured ear drum which needs treatment. Feel better!
