Irritation: Be careful in shaving that area as it can cause an infection with the normal bacteria that is over your skin. As you shave and scrape the skin, it can cause small cuts that can be infected. Sometimes you can develop a mild irritation of the hair root, called folliculitis. Use soap and gentle washing and avoid any lotions. Also, it could be an STD if you have had unprotected sex. See your Dr. first
