I was doing well on the prevpac (lansoprazole amoxicillin and clarithromycin) and for a month after.now my stomach started bothering me again.means the bacteria is still there?

Not necessarily.: A return of your symptoms does not necessarily imply that H pylori is still present. It is possible that you have acid reflux or another reason for your discomfort. I would return to your physician. If necessary, he/she can do a stool or breath test to determine if the bacteria has been eliminated. You will be able to make a plan for what to do about your pain at that visit. Good luck.
