?folliculitisvs.cyst: What you are describing is very common in women who shave the pubic area. This area is not sterile and neither is the razor you are using. Folliculitis(inflammation of the hair follicle) or even an infected sebaceous cyst is a possibility. Using a warm compress for comfort is fine. Triple antibiotic ointment may give some relief.
