See Your Gyn: This probably represents retained blood form the last menstrual period. The brown color is what can be seen when blood is retained within the uterus. You would want to see your gyn to amke sure you are not pregant, and to make sure that there is no pathological explanation for the blood to remain in the uterus follwoing a menstrual cycle
