Harder to remove: IUDs do odd things at times. Even if they are put in correctly, they can turn side-ways. If the IUD is still in the uterus, you are protected from pregnancy. However, a side-ways IUD can become imbedded in the uterine wall and make it harder to remmove. Best wishes!
