Morning stiffness: Doubt relationship to prior pregnancy. Concern may include various forms of arthropathies and vascular disease. See a Rheumatologist or your primary physician

Rheumatoid Arthirits: Stiff joints, especially on the fingers, first thing in the morning can be a sign of Rheumatoid Arthritis. This is especially true if the joints are red or warm. There probably isn't a direct connection between giving birth 5 months ago and sore joints now; however, you may be using your fingers a lot more with a 5 month old to care for. See your doc and have it checked out. Best wishes!
