Call your G.I. doc.: if it is going to help, Nexium (esomeprazole) would probably have started giving you some relief by now. I would recommend avoiding any particular foods that you notice make the problem worse. You should consider tilting your bed and avoiding caffeine and alcohol. I would call your gastroenterologist to see if you need to adjust the Nexium (esomeprazole) dosage or switch to a new medicine. Good luck.
