I need some advice my own doctor has put me on tranexamic acid tablets so i was wondering can they cause me to stay on my period?

Medication: Tranexamic acid is a non hormonal medication used to treat heavy periods. It would not cause you to long cycles but it could be prescribed to treat this problem. If the medication is not working then a follow up visit is needed to determine the next steps.
