Tylenol (acetaminophen) indications: Tylenol (acetaminophen) is approved for ages 2 months and older at a dose of 15 mg/kg every 4 hours (approximately 160 mg for every 22 pounds). Motrin and Advil are recommend for ages 6 months and older at a dose of 10 mg/kg every 6-8 hours.
