Can be High Chances: Any time you engage in sexual intercourse without birth control and/or protection (condoms) you run the risk of becoming pregnant. If you had sex after your period you might have lucked out. But this is risky business because sperm can survive inside the vagina for some time. I would always advise Birth control (IUD, Pills) and protection (condoms for STDs) every time you engage in sex.
