Keep it moving: And of those issues, only constipation would seem to be of concern. Barium itself can be constipating; it even can solidify stool. Yeah. So be consistent with the treatment you've been prescribed - (don't overdo, tho) preferably fiber, psyllium, PEG (miralax) etc. rather than stimulant laxatives. Keep it moving till the barium's outta there.
