Needs evaluation: Blood in the stool can occur because of hemorrhoids, polyps, fissures, cancer etc. Large volume bleeding should be evaluated immediately. Smaller amounts of blood should be evaluated as well but not urgently.

See your DOCTOR: blood in stool need to be evaluated properly It can be as simple as hemorrhoid or a more serious condition. There is long list of significant conditions responsible for presence of blood in the stool. So best is to see your doctor for a detail examination and evaluation
