Lump: If the lump or lip becomes painful,tender or reddened it may be an abcess and should be examined by your physician. A localized allergic reaction is also a possibility,however, especially if itching is present.

Its probably: a Mucous cyst (Mucocoele) It will probably resolve itself however point it out to your Primary Care Doctor if it is still there at the time of a routine visit!
