Yes and no: Yes and no. Lyrica (pregabalin) helps primarily for neuropathic pain and so was used for conditions such as diabetic neuropathy. But Lyrica has since been approved for fibromyalgia, which is characterized by pain coming from muscles, fascia, and other superficial soft tissues. So, it would lead one to think Lyrica can help although the mechanism is not clear.

In my prior experience, have found Lyrica to often be useful in non-neuropathic painful conditions, and would be worthwhile trying if you experience chronic muscular pain, especially if an inflammatory condition.
