2nd opinion : If you are still hurting, you might want to consider a second opinion. Presumably your MRI knee was negative, which is good in that an MRI is a good test to rule out major ligamentous injuries to the knee. There are other potential causes that do not show up on an MRI, so I would not hesitate to be seen.
