A member asked:

My left ear is clogged since i had a sinus infection a few months ago. i have tried drops that were prescribed to my kids for their ears - what to do?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Fluid middle ear: The plugging is likely not in your outer ear, so external ear drops are not going to help. Do the things you would do on a plane when the pressure changes - yawn, chew gum, pop your ears. But do these things a lot for a few days. Then if the pressure/plugged feeling is not improving, it's time to see your doc or ENT for what the next step is.
