Cough: If he doesn't have fever and is otherwise normal except for the coughing he may have had an atypical pathogen like Mycoplasma. Get cough syrup containing dextromethorphan from the pharmacy and use as directed. The package will be marked "DM". Good luck and hope he is better soon.
