Identify cause: Hi, Usually something triggers lip swelling - infection, medications, irritation. Is it the new lipstick or lip balm that you have tried? Any new medications? Any other swellings? Any family members with similar symptoms? Any associated symptoms - burning, itching in the lip? Is it getting worse or better? Try to answer these questions, which could help you find the answer.
