Nonspecific : Acute only means recent in onset. It does not provide a clue as to the origin--bleeding, critical illness, oncologic problem, nutritional deficiency or other. Anemia is a low red cell count. You need more information and recent testing from your Dr.

From bleeding: If you had a recent hemorrhage. The diagnosis may or may not have been correct. How are you doing now? I'd urge you to get a follow-up blood count if you have not done so already.
