Tender lymph nodes: Could be tender lymph nodes. Usually, it is seen with infection in middle ear or even in the mastoid area. Mastoid are pockets of air cells behind our ears in the scalp. Sometimes with infection in the area, it would cause headaches, fever and other symptoms. So, it may be a simple ear infection or worse, mastoiditis.
