Is it normal for your period to be irregular after stoppiing the nuvaring?

Yes: Your periods are commonly more irregular once you stop the NuvaRing. The same is true coming off any birth control pill. NuvaRing is simply a different delivery system for the same medications. However, extreme irregularity should be evaluated further if it persists past 3 or 4 months.
