A member asked:

6 wks pregnant can i have a daily latte of 75-97mg of caffeine a day? or a small cappuccino from a machine? not sure how much caffeine is in them

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Probably OK: The American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ACOC) recommends less than 200 mg of caffeine daily to minimize risk of miscarriage. Higher amounts may be associated with increased risk of miscarriage and the link with decreased fetal weight has not been fully established. A single cup of coffee or tea is likely fine.
