See below: Unable to give specific advise without more information, but pain in the posterior chest with movement of your chest wall is often due to a temporary neuralgia presumably from a "pinched nerve" resulting from some activity or sleeping in an uncomfortable position. NSAIDS like ibuprofen may help, but if not gabapentin(Neurontin) or pregabalin(Lyrica) will usually work. Consult with your physician.
