Get info: I can't relate this to the bowels but numbness in feet can be due to low back issues. Suggest nerve conduction study and mri. Always possible with diabetes and alcohol consumption.

Radiculopathy: All those symptoms can be explained by entrapment or irritation of lumbar spine nerves. See an orthopedist or neurosurgeon for an evaluation promptly. Delaying treatment could result in permanent nerve damage.
