EGD: Suggest seeing a GI specialist. Seen saclike u may require an EGD-EsophaGoDuodenoscopy, to see esophagus, stomach and duodenum. High acidity coming up into mouth may be u'r issue.

other consideration, since you have gone through an EGD too is to have a look at the soft tissue portions of your neck, like the thyroid gland and surrounding structures. One other aspect is to discuss with GI doctor about measuring the integrity of your Upper and lower esophageal sphincters which would tell u if they are closing/opening well in response to peristalsis(movement of the gut muscle).

Pregnancy or taking birth control or hormone replacement with progesterone especially can lead to a lot of reflux too and cause these symptoms. other medications that relax smooth muscles or irritate the acid in the stomach should also be considered

LPR : Laryngopharygeal reflux is when a small amount of acid comes up into the throat and irritates it. It is a common cause of dry tickle cough, chronic sore throat, lump in the the throat , post nasal drip, phlegm in the throat, and throat clearing. Many studies show it responds best to proton pump inhibitor rx to heal properly. Need an ENT who is aware of this problem.
