Leishmaniasis: Leishmanin skin test aka Montenegro skin test is not approved for use in the States due to lack of standardization. Since you live in the States, rather than leave the country for a single test, ask your Infectious Disease specialist about other options for testing & diagnosis. Check out http://emedicine.medscape.com/article/220298-overview for more info on this infection especially "Workup" tab.

Check with local MDs: This test, the leishmanin skin test, is a test for the presence of leishmaniasis (a tropical disease). According to the web it is available in many countries but which ones are not specified. If it has to be done under the direction of a MD, then it would be up to the doc. Maybe you could contact the manufacturer of the test and find out where the best place would be. Why do you think you have it?
