I was recently diagnosed with hsv 2, while tests clear of all other std's. ever since my discharge smells bad and strong.

Likely bv: hsv doesnt cause odorous discharge. Bacterial vaginosis is common, not an std, easy to treat. Try Repleanse feminine cleanser first.

Bacterial vaginosis?: It isn't herpes. The main cause of vaginal discharge with odor (often fishy) is bacterial vaginosis -- overgrowth of mostly normal bacteria. Trichomonas, an STD, can do the same. See your doctor for diagnosis and treatment advice. Don't be tempted to douche, which increases the chance of pelvic inflammatory disease (PID), a serious fallopian tube infection. Good luck!
