No: If you have surgery you will develop compensatory sweating. 100% of patients having surgery will get cs. It is usually not so severe that you will lose any weight as a result of the cs. You need to ask the surgeon which level of the nerve he/she is planning on cutting or clamping- the higher the level cut the greater amount of cs you will have.
