Gallstones: Most common cause of bile duct dilation in your age group is gallstones. Yes, upper back pain, right sided pain, pain after eating are symptoms. Okay to get evaluated, ask to see a general surgeon. Take a friend with you to appointment. You may benefit from ERCP and then gallbladder removal. Be well.
