What's A1c?: Hi. Not enough information. We need to know your A1c stably on that regimen for 3-4 months. However, with at least some of your sugars around 200, there's a good chance your control is suboptimal and you are at a higher risk of long term complications. There are many wonderful new diabetes drugs available. At your age with so much of life ahead, you'll want the A1c in the low 6's for the long haul
