No: It is not supposed to look white. This could potentially be an bacterial infection or thrush from fungal infection. Please see your primary care asap.

No, same color as: Rest of your rest of the oral Mucosa. If you are having Pain, difficulty in swallowing or Cough with Post nasal drip, get examined. Some times if you are on any medicines, or Inhalers, can coat the back of throat. Clean with water and than examine. Make sure not some food/ Milk product is stuck there.
