Complex: although Epipen (epinephrine) might not work from the first dose, it is still the first drug of choice for anaphylaxis even if you are on propranolol, you can still use it and repeat the dose every 5 minutes x 3 till better, question: why would you anaphylax in the first place? please talk to your doctor about considering an alternative for propranolol, glucagon is an alternate drug for Epipen (epinephrine) ,off-label though
