Many causes but...: Tics or twitching of the eyelids is common and usually not serious. Often we can not find the cause but it is often related to fatigue and stress. It may also be caused by magnesium deficiency so taking magnesium citrate, glycinate or taurate often helps. Resting and stress-reduction techniques can help too. Myokymia: Usually twitching or flickering of the eyelids is benign myokymia, which can be incited by stress, eye strain, fatigue, or just generalized malaise. Rare to have any brain or eye pathology present. If troublesome, see your eye specialist.
