Different mutation: Metastatic colon cancer not always sensitive to chemo. If bx raken and fresh specimen sent for chemosensitivity then at times various combination can be found to work but all are temporary. Immnunochemo may be more helpful using Ervitux, an epithelial growth factor inhibitor with chemo or Avastin (bevacizumab) with chemo. Newer mAbs including Neo 102- may be found to target the tumor more effectively.
