A member asked:

I had a blood clot come out of me as long as my first finger && this isn't the first time?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Normal variation: Occasional clots are not abnormal. However, it does mean more than usual bleeding and you are at risk of iron deficiency and anemia. You may wish to take oral iron supplements available over the counter. Take the pills with meals.
