Don't worry.: Spotting in the 1st trimester is very common. In fact 60% of pregnant women bleed in the 1st trimester but not all of these ladies have a miscarriage. It is normal to be concerned considering your miscarriage 8 mnths ago. Remember that you can have spotting after intercourse. I am sure that your OB will do an Ultrasound very soon. When you see the little heart beat. you will be reassured.
